Setup Schedule: Precedences

You use the Precedences tab to define precedences between surface mining locations for Surface scenarios, and between any combination of development headings and production mining locations for Underground scenarios. You also use the Precedences tab to define priorities for development headings and mining locations.

Priorities determine how resources are allocated to development headings. If you are scheduling without defining material ratio targets or quality targets, priorities determine how resources are allocated to production locations.

Precedences are always honoured, regardless of whether material ratio targets or quality targets are defined.

In Surface scenarios, precedences stop mining from occurring until mining is complete in another location.

In Underground scenarios, precedences stop mining from occurring in one heading or mining location until mining is complete in another mining location, or until mining is partially complete or complete in a development heading.
